Structure and frequency are determined based on licensure status, NYS requirements (when applicable), and individual clinical goals.

Licensure Compliance

Supervision for MHC-LPs is provided by Hafsa Shibli, LMHC, a New York State licensed Mental Health Counselor who meets NYS supervision requirements. All required supervision hours are documented in accordance with New York State Office of the Professions guidelines.

Consultation for licensed clinicians is provided in a professional, ethical framework appropriate for post-licensure support.

Supervision & Consultation Approach

Supervision and consultation are grounded in a supportive, reflective, and developmentally informed framework. The goal is to help clinicians strengthen clinical skills while maintaining ethical, sustainable practice.

Focus areas may include:

  • Case conceptualization and treatment planning

  • Deepening clinical interventions and therapeutic approach

  • Ethical and legal considerations in NYS private practice

  • Professional identity development and confidence building

  • Managing clinical complexity and countertransference

  • Burnout prevention, boundaries, and sustainability in practice

For licensed clinicians, consultation is offered as non-mandated, supplemental support and does not replace required supervision for licensure.
